Unpopular, On Purpose
Parenting in today’s world requires more than just good intentions; it demands courage. That’s why I created unpopular PARENT—a place where tough topics meet candid discussions, all aimed at helping parents navigate the challenging path of raising independent kids who embody strength, compassion, and integrity.
In a society increasingly clouded by disinformation, fear, and quick-fix solutions, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, confused, and even afraid of our roles. But as parents, it’s our responsibility to be brave—brave in our convictions and brave enough to admit when we’re wrong or need to grow. Accepting our role means guiding our children with confidence, even when the world around us feels uncertain. If we shirk this responsibility, we risk raising a generation unprepared to face life’s challenges with honesty and resilience.
The content here is unapologetically direct. I’m not interested in sugar-coating the challenges of parenting or masking the issues our young people face today. Our kids are worth more than us simply going along to get along.
The ultimate goal is to be better humans and raise better humans.
